Camille Aubert, Lead Developer & AI Solutions Architect at Cegos, Paris — portrait

About

From Burgundy to enterprise AI, via three continents.

I’m Camille Aubert — Lead Developer & AI Solutions Architect at Cegos, based in Fontenay-le-Fleury (Île-de-France). Online, I’ve been CamiJi since my India years.

The winding path

I grew up in Givry and Chalon-sur-Saône, in Burgundy. Humanities baccalauréat, then sociology at the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon — followed by Grenoble, an Erasmus semester in Madrid, and a Master’s finished in New Delhi.

Then the travel industry swallowed me whole: ground logistics in Delhi and the Ladakh mountains, then tailor-made trips to China, Indonesia and Mongolia designed from Paris. Three continents, thousands of travellers — and not a single line of code yet.

The reconversion

In 2015, I retrained as a web developer at Webforce3 (Nanterre) — and never looked back. Since 2016: business applications at ASSERCAR in Paris, growing from developer to project manager, building real SQL depth along the way.

Since 2023 at Cegos: Laravel, React and WordPress at enterprise scale — and today, leading the technical shift toward applied AI. Enterprise RAG in production, agent orchestration, and an AI-assisted delivery workflow across repositories.

Beyond the keyboard

Lifelong multisport: 20 years of handball, one marathon and one ultra-trail (50K+) — plus windsurfing, rollerblading, and cycling. I bike-commute to the office whenever the Parisian weather cooperates.

Otherwise: WWII and Roman history, and a vegetable garden that keeps me humble.
